Demo Days

Demo days are great way to get the community engaged and to share what people are working on. Depending on how big your local Hacks/Hackers chapter is, you might want to have one maybe once every three months or so.

To help you along, we created a generic Google form that you can copy to use for sign ups.  To duplicate this, you need to copy the Google doc herehttp://hckhc.kr/dXSXqO, by going to File —> Make a Copy…and rename it.

Depending on the number of demos, you can vary the format. One effective format: five-minute lightning talks followed by five-minute Q&As, during which the next speaker is switching out their laptop to the projector.

It’s good to have someone take notes (with screenshots) and do a qualitative blog post.
