Worth a read:

  • The London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism is launching The Bureau Local to help build a network of local investigative journalists (NiemanLab)
  • BuzzFeed got more than half its staff on board with data by encouraging them to query analytics data on their own content (Digiday)
  • Investigative Reporters & Editors, which contains the largest data journalism organization in the U.S., is compiling a comprehensive index of data being mirrored and backed up by people concerned it will disappear under the Trump administration (Poynter)
