More content on the new website
Beware the ides of March, hacks and hackers! (Whatever that means.) In case you missed it, we launched a new website last week:
This week we're adding and updating content, like a comprehensive list of groups and blog posts on the site's development and layout.
If you organize a local group, be sure to let us know if you want to have your own page or make any updates.
The week ahead:
Group spotlight:
Probably the biggest event in the Hacks/Hackers world this week was the Awesomest Journalism Party Ever, which sees hundreds of people partying like journalists at SXSW. Our website cohorts, Alley Interactive, were there with swag:
The enormous party can be overwhelming, so Austin organizer Cindy Royal did her part to encourage locals to come.
"Every year, we're happy to attend the Awesomest Journalism Party, so Austin Hacks/Hackers can meet with so many people doing great work around the globe. And we hope everyone had a fun and enlightening SXSW!"
