More opportunities for local reporters

If you missed it last week, the Solutions Journalism Network is also offering funding for local reporting in news deserts.

- YouTube announced a plan to invest $7 million in journalism with two year-long initiatives that help individual journalists and newsrooms create news on the platform.
- As we know already, perceptions of data visualizations can influence public opinion. Data blog The Nightingale quantified it using a dataset of academic performance at schools in New York City.
