New events this month, and the global call

It's already March, hacks and hackers, and that means conferences and events are picking back up again. This week, London is hosting three digital journalism convenings alone: Newsrewired, the Changing Media Summit, and Digital Media Strategies.

Scroll down to see all the other events happening this month.

And don't forget our monthly planning call! We'll be chatting at 1200 Eastern (1700 GMT) on Wednesday. Subscribe to the calendar to find it in your local time, or contribute to the agenda.

  • Participants in Twitter subcultures, like Black Twitter or Feminist Twitter, largely disapprove of the media using their tweets in stories, according to a recent report by the Knight Foundation (Knight Foundation)
  • Google AMP's latest release, AMP Stories, tries to borrow the popular "Stories" format of Snapchat and Instagram for mobile journalism (NiemanLab)
